Introduction

We are two gals that lovingly call ourselves fatties because we love food and have struggled with our weight. We have changed our diet and have been able to lose weight while still eating well. We have been posting many of our meals on Facebook and our friends have asked us for the recipes. We figured it was about time we get around to writing a blog about our food and how to tweak it to be healthy.

We try to stick to low carb, high fiber and low sodium meals. Many of your staple meals can be easily tweaked to be healthy with just a few changes. Below is an image that gives you an idea of how we are trying to eat (of course we cheat, who doesn't?) at least once a week or special occasions.



We also have changed how we live, we have been tracking our steps with fitness trackers. We are also lucky enough to live near a river where we have started to kayak to burn extra calories while enjoying nature.
